Daniel’s Hungarian Cuisine
February 28th, 2025
Jozsa Daniel, treated us to a traditional Hungarian stew.
During lunch break, we went on a lively shopping trip, purchasing a large amount of meat, onions, wine, and rye bread, which closely resembles traditional Hungarian bread. Back in the kitchen, we chopped a mountain of onions—shedding a few tears in the process—carefully prepared the tough beef shank, and slowly simmered the dish. This hearty stew was a faithful recreation of his mother’s recipe from back home.
The delicious stew, made with great care, was met with enthusiastic cries of "Delicious!" and disappeared in no time.
On the same day, the M2 students had their master’s thesis presentations. After completing their presentations, they joined the gathering with a sense of relief, enjoying a fun and relaxing time with their peers.
“Thank you, Daniel and Daniel’s mother, for the delicious food and wonderful time!”
